1 Man. 22 Characters. Lots of Bells.
Using Dickens’ timeless story as source material, An Actor’s Carol takes you on a 50-minute journey of redemption. Told through the eyes of our clown, this production provides an athletic twist to a well-known tale.
An Actor’s Carol was performed in North Georgia in December 2020 for a limited nightly audience of 25. With this production, Promontory Players has devised a new work that is a must-see for anyone interested in the powers of creativity and storytelling.
The original run of An Actor’s Carol garnered high praise from critics: Chris Crawford, Chair of Theatre at Young Harris College, called An Actor’s Carol a “must see…everybody who loves this story should see this” and Bert Osborne of the Atlanta Journal and Constitution said Weber is “a solid display of Weber’s wide ranging acting talents.”
Following the recent successful run of An Actor’s Carol, David Weber joins forces with Underground Atlanta to remount this stunning theatrical piece for a welcoming and thriving artistic community.
